Pre-K FAQ’s
Can my child attend pre-K if they are not fully potty trained?
Tulsa Public Schools welcomes all students, regardless of toilet training status before pre-K. While it’s encouraged for families to work on toilet training, the school recognizes that each child progresses at their own pace.
Is transportation available for pre-k students?
Non-transfer pre-K students living 1.5 miles or more from their school are provided with transportation. An adult, guardian, or older sibling must be at the stop to get the student. More information is available here.
Will my Pre-K student stay at an out-of-neighborhood school for kindergarten next year without applying for a transfer?
If your student is in a pre-k school outside the neighborhood, they can continue there for kindergarten to 5th grade without needing to reapply.
